gb（読み：ジービー）

ソウルミュージック界のレジェンド、Kool & The Gangの創設メンバーであるドラマー、ジョージ・ブラウンを父に持つシンガーソングライター。アーティスト名「gb（ジービー）」は、本名グレゴリー・ブラウンのイニシャルに由来する。

オーガニックな質感とソウルフルな歌声を武器に、ポップス、R&B、シティポップを軽やかに横断。TikTokで話題を集めた「STRESS」、俳優・伊藤健太郎出演のミュージックビデオでも注目を集めた「丁寧な暮らし」などを通して、時代の空気と響き合う感性で支持を広げてきた。

2025年8月、土岐麻子・荒谷翔大とのコラボレーションによる「SMILE IN YOUR FACE」で、ドリーミュージックよりメジャーデビュー。続いて、ビッケブランカのプロデュースによる「車窓」をリリースし、ジャンルや世代を越えて静かに共感を呼び起こす独自のスタイルで、新たなリスナーとの出会いを更新し続けている。

また、超特急、ONE'N ONLY、WATWING、Paradox Live（VISTY）、中山優馬、EXO CHANYEOLらへの作詞提供を行うなど、プロデューサー／ソングライターとしても活動。野外フェスや各種イベントへの出演も重ねながら、表現の幅を着実に広げている。

gb is a singer-songwriter whose father is George Brown, legendary drummer and founding member of Kool & The Gang. His artist name, “gb,” comes from the initials of his real name, Gregory Brown.

With an organic sound and soulful voice, gb moves naturally across pop, R&B, and city pop. He gained attention through songs such as “STRESS,” which found success on TikTok, and “Teinei na Kurashi,” whose music video featuring actor Kentaro Ito also drew notice.

In August 2025, he made his major debut on Dreamusic with “SMILE IN YOUR FACE,” a collaboration with Asako Toki and Shota Aratani. He later released “Shasou,” produced by Vicke Blanka, and continues to connect with new listeners through his warm and distinctive style.

Alongside his own artist career, he has also worked as a songwriter and producer, writing lyrics for artists including Cho-Tokkyu, ONE'N ONLY, WATWING, Paradox Live (VISTY), Yuma Nakayama, and EXO’s CHANYEOL.
